First Christmas as a Married Old Lady...

Oh Happy Day....

Its been a fun couple of days, although equally exhausting. I've been working so much lately that I feel like I missed out on enjoying the holidays, which really makes me sad. Just glad that I could capture it on my NEW NIKON!! WOO!!

After a long day of work on Christmas eve, and multiple bitch sessions later about how much we LOVE our job... I came home to my parents house to find a large box under the christmas tree. "Could it possibly be?" I asked myself. I quickly opened the box, and to my excitement... It was my New Nikon D700, with lenses, case, etc. I giggled like a small child, because it finally came.


An hour and piles of empty boxes later, I realized that I needed to actually get ready, wrap some presents, and prepare for the rest of my evening.

Went to the in-laws house, like we do every year on Christmas eve... Opened gifts with them... chatted a bit, then had to go to church with my lovely family.


I love my parents house around Christmas. It always made me so excited to blare the Xmas music, and hang the stockings slash decorate the christmas tree. It always made me so happy, and it reminds me of this one year that me and Jake danced around the house to the music of the Nutcracker...

Lazy day, today... not feeling well at all. The flu has been going around work, and I believe that I was unfortunate enough to catch it. Called in sick today, and lounged around the house in my pjs all day.
Jack decided that it looked like fun, so he decided to join in on the laziness.

Dusty K helping the neighbor shovel the driveway, after he came and helped dusty. Been watching a lot of Dexter today, seeing as I've been so lazy. Not been able to keep much down, decided to cook myself a hearty dinner of water, boullion cubes, noodles and crackers. yum.

Should go to bed, still not feeling well... Dont want to miss another day of work. Night.
